We’re so proud of Caroline Strachan for being recognised by Business Travel News for leading our efforts to create a more Purposeful Travel sector.
This is what she had to say about her recognition:
“To end the year by being recognised as one of Business Travel News 25 most influential executives in the travel sector is a real privilege.
But this award represents wider recognition and also a responsibility in the year ahead to keep pushing for a more purposeful travel sector. I am joined by a fantastic team at FESTIVE ROAD who are driven every day to deliver on our mission to create better travel and meetings management. Together we strive to challenge the status quo, to help support the corporate travel sector and to continually evolve to face the challenges and opportunities ahead.
Our work on the Purposeful Travel Model, which has resonated with so many, and the reason for the recognition, was developed with the input of some of our travel community and many of our Roaders. In particular I’d like to call out Louise Kilgannon who was instrumental in building out the full model as a usable process for corporates to apply and the creator or the “old vs new way of thinking” within.
We’re so privileged as a company to continually receive feedback from buyers and suppliers across the industry who trust us with ongoing insights that help us to reflect and shape our strategic thinking, products and services. There’s nothing better than turning this into output which helps the industry, whether it’s through client engagements or pro-bono work like the Purposeful Travel Model.
I’ll close with a heartfelt thank you to all of the Roaders and wider community who join us on our mission to “create better”.”
