Winning the 2021 Business Travel Award for the ‘Covid-19 Crisis Response’ category for our work creating the Permissible Travel Framework (PTF), is a hugely proud moment for the whole FESTIVE ROAD team.
It’s a unique award which recognises a once-in-a-lifetime achievement and the fact that a small company like ours is recognised is wonderful.
But the honour is not ours alone.
The PTF was developed in response to the immediate shut down of travel at the beginning of the pandemic and was designed to help buyers and suppliers navigate their way through very complex and unchartered waters. Since its launch back in May 2020, the framework has been through 10 iterations and accessed by over 10,000 companies globally.
Whilst it was FESTIVE ROAD who received the award, we are truly grateful for the contributions from the travel buyers and suppliers who provided feedback to drive the ten iterations and improve the framework each time. The collaboration was a real demonstration of an incredible community spirit.
