We started FESTIVE ROAD eight years ago to create better travel and meetings management and industry engagement. Over that time, we’ve gathered the most brilliant team of people (now over forty roaders!) and built an enviable client portfolio of inspiring, innovative and impressive brands who have entrusted us to create better and more purposeful travel and meetings management programmes. Understandably, we’re enormously proud of our 98% “referral rate” (OK we’d prefer 100% but we’re not for everyone, we get that!).
Our people-first culture is magical and the success of our focus and investment in people is demonstrated by our NPS score of 86. We’re proving that a people-first culture is the way to go.
Today, we have big people news to share.
Over the last 18 months, we have been shaping our future company purpose and vision and developed a hugely bold and ambitious vision 2030, which is grounded in our purpose to create better for our people, clients, and industry.
As we have discussed expansion and growth alongside this, we also considered the significant increase in demand for Festive Road services from buyer and supplier communities. To date, we haven’t been able to fulfil this supplier demand as we restricted the service range to avoid any conflict for our buyer clients. We’ve found ourselves saying no to supplier projects a lot!
It’s with this in mind and following lots of discussion and planning that we have very amicably taken the decision to “split” the two sides of the business, into buyer, and supplier, creating separate dedicated businesses. The division creates clear delineation and importantly enables us to better serve our customers and the industry, opening opportunities for growth and career development for our teams and for each other.
Our BIG PEOPLE NEWS is…
On 29th March 2024, we each step into new roles in our own businesses.
Paul will leave Festive Road, fully divesting his shares, to form a new business, temoji. temoji will focus on Supplier Consulting which sees Paul and his team focus on marketing, communications and advisory in the supplier sector to build “social and intellectual capital” between suppliers and their audiences.
Caroline becomes CEO and sole shareholder of Festive Road, which will focus on Buyer Consulting and Outsourcery services retaining the Festive Road core clients and team. Festive Road will power on with its bold and ambitious vision for 2030, to enable a Purposeful Travel & Meetings Management world across all T&E categories.
Caroline says, “Paul and I have created an amazing purpose-led, people-first company together. We’ve experienced unimaginable growth and success over eight years. This move makes logical and commercial sense, opening significant opportunity for Festive Road and our team to forge ahead and become – the largest independent T&E consultancy, working towards a purposeful travel and meetings management world across all T&E categories.”
Paul, Founder of new business, temoji says,
“Caroline and I, together with the extraordinarily talented team we’ve developed at Festive Road, have had an amazing run of business over eight years. It’s been a wonderful partnership and I’m proud of all we have achieved together. temoji gives me the opportunity to create a single-minded service offer that’s dedicated entirely to supplier consulting and removes restrictions that were preventing this before. I am extremely excited for us all, at both Festive Road and temoji, by what is now possible and still to come.”
We both believe this to be the logical next step and direction for all involved, re-energising, refreshing, and refocusing after a period of enormous success.
Our respective commitment to our people, clients, and the industry remains the same, but independently and separately we can now create even better as we focus solely on what we love and are motivated by, in our own dedicated businesses.
We want to share sincere thanks for the incredible support, business, and fun we have received together at Festive Road and look forward to sharing more about our exciting plans in the coming weeks and months.
