“FREYA” Part of Bigger Mission to
Elevate Travel Management
FESTIVE ROAD has launched a specialist practice in robotics and Artificial Intelligence at the GBTA Europe Conference in Frankfurt.
FREYA, the name of the robotics practice, has been launched hot off the back of the company’s recent announcement of a project to re-wire the TMC Process.
FREYA will work with travel buyers to identify, develop and implement automation opportunities to
- improve the traveller experience
- better manage cost
- support duty of care
The consultancy’s Managing Partner, Paul Tilstone said, “Robotics and Artificial Intelligence is predicted to boom across industry in general, with growth rates of nearly 25% per annum* predicted until 2025. The opportunity to leverage this technology to better run travel programmes is huge. Imagine a day where the tactical part of a Travel Manager role is automated. A day where we take the robot out of the human and release the strategic Travel Manager within.
FREYA fits perfectly alongside our work to re-wire the TMC RFP, as both are designed to elevate the role of the Travel Manager to bring more value to their business and better service to the traveller.”
FESTIVE ROAD has released a video to the industry explaining FREYA’s roll in a Travel Program.
