USA, China and France Based Associates to Specialise in Research, Mobile and NextGen

Festive Road, the travel and meetings engagement agency, has announced the addition of two new business travel specialists as associates.

Joseph Bates and Aurelie Krau have joined existing partners, Caroline Strachan and Paul Tilstone, as formal associates with specialty areas of expertise.

Bates joins after fulfilling a role as vice president of research and strategic initiatives for the GBTA Foundation for the last six years. He is based in Washington DC and Beijing and will represent Festive Road in the USA and China, specialising in qualitative and quantitative research projects and white papers for the agency.

Krau, who was recently listed as “one to watch” in the UK business travel hotlist 2016, specialises in NextGen travellers, technology and mobile. She supported Festive Road’s work for IATA during 2015 and will represent the agency from Paris, France.

Talking about the additions to the team, managing partner Paul Tilstone said, “We’d like to welcome Aurelie and Joe as our first associates to support the work we are doing across the buyers and supplier community. They represent exactly the type of people we will be attracting to the agency from across the world. They are talented, have global perspectives, great knowledge and an informed opinion on our industry.”

The agency plans to build a global associate programme with regional and subject matter experts announced periodically.

Festive Road helps companies grow through better engagement. Headed by Business Travel Thought Leaders Paul Tilstone & Caroline Strachan, together with their network of international associates, they provide engagement, strategy, insights and event services. The Festive Road team has been recognised multiple times in prominent industry leader lists and industry awards as leading lights in the global business travel market since 2007.
