Expansion in Hotel Sales & Marketing Expertise

We are delighted to announce the appointment of a new hotel, meetings and events sales and marketing expert to support the company’s continued growth in the sector.

Ian Jones has spent the past 25 years at the forefront of the hotel industry with roles in industry associations HBAA and ITM and as industry head of sales for Meetings agency Zibrant and De Vere Venues.

Ian leaves his existing role as Director of sales for an experiential learning company to lead a dual life, as both a FESTIVE ROADER and a farmer, running his 42-acre family farm and outdoor learning business in the Surrey Hills.

Managing partner Paul Tilstone said of the appointment, “Ian is a great asset to attract to the ROAD as his combined sales and marketing expertise in the hotel transient and meetings space and his creative spirit completely supports the type of work we are doing for hotel groups and others in this space.  They want a new approach to sales and marketing.
