Vicky Lerego-Wright

Vicky has worked in the travel industry for over 25 years, holding various positions as a buyer, supplier and in consulting. She has managed travel programmes across diverse sectors, including the regional programmes at Bloomberg and TJX, and programme management within the global mobility digital transformation team at Accenture. During her career, Vicky also led strategic air and ground partnerships relationships for Amex Travel & Lifestyle services, managed global client relationships for CWT’s Customer Management team, and most recently, worked as a consultant CWT Solutions Group – In this role, she collaborated with key clients on air and ground sourcing, sustainability and policy review.

Based near Milton Keynes, Vicky enjoys spending quality time with her husband, two sons and French Bulldog. Whenever possible, loves both planning, researching and travelling to new destinations.

Meet Vicky Lerego-Wright

Project Manager based in Bedfordshire, UK

Vicky joins Festive Road as a Project Manager to support the growing requests for our Consulting services. Vicky brings over 25 years of experience in the travel industry, having held roles across multiple sectors as a buyer, supplier, and consultant.

Throughout her career, Vicky has managed travel programs for organizations such as Bloomberg, TJX, and Accenture, where she was part of the global mobility digital transformation team. She has also led strategic air and ground partnerships at American Express Travel & Lifestyle Services and managed global client relationships within CWT’s Customer Management team. Most recently, she worked as a consultant at CWT Solutions Group, focusing on air and ground sourcing, sustainability, and policy review.

Beyond her professional expertise, Vicky enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons, and French Bulldog near Milton Keynes. She has a passion for travel planning, researching new destinations, and exploring the world whenever possible.

Michelle Murphy

What’s your professional background in a nutshell?

Michelle is passionate about all things ‘People’, with a Masters in Human Resource Management and a knack for driving employee engagement, L&D, and performance. Michelle has experience across industries such as healthcare, media and tech, and thrives on building meaningful people strategies that support teams and align with business goals. Michelle is always aiming to create a workplace people love. 

What key areas/responsibilities will you cover in your new role and how will you be looking to Create Better?

As People & Development Manager, Michelle’s focus will be on leading areas such as recruitment, onboarding, L&D, performance and engagement to name a few — and basically, helping employees take the wheel! Michelle’s goal is to create a workplace where employees hold the power to shape their own growth, spark creativity, and make work a place they actually want to be. Because when employees love where they work, they don’t just show up, they shine.

What’s your favourite way to unwind after a long day, and what do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Originally from Ireland, Michelle made the move across the pond to Manchester where she lives with her partner, Matthew. When Michelle is not deep diving into people projects, you’ll find her on a long run, blasting Shania Twain in her headphones, experimenting in the kitchen (some hits, some disasters), or diving into a thriller novel. She also loves exploring new places and soaking up new experiences, especially when they involve good food!

What’s a fun fact about you that might surprise people?

Michelle used to be a competitive ballet dancer in her younger days! Turns out, she realised she wasn’t quite as graceful as she thought – so she swapped the ballet shoes for running shoes. Unfortunately, the chances of her tripping over her own feet are still very much against her!

Michelle embarks on her journey with Festive Road as People and Development Manager, strengthening our people-first mission with her extensive experience in HR leadership and recruitment consultancy.

Michelle’s career has spanned the healthcare, media, and tech sectors, including roles at Vable and Virgin Media Ireland—industries where organisational change, employee engagement, and performance aren’t just buzzwords, but business-critical strategies. With a Master’s in Human Resource Management and CIPD qualifications, she brings both academic insight and practical experience to the table.

Originally from Ireland and now based in Manchester, Michelle has long followed Festive Road’s journey. She’s often described us as her “dream destination”—a place where people truly are at the heart of everything we do. That mutual admiration made this connection feel not just natural, but inevitable.
