At Festive Road, we love a good journey. And today, we’re thrilled to announce that Amy Williams makes a transition from the Outsourcing team to the Consulting team as we launch a Technology Practice to continue helping clients Create Better.
Amy has more than 20 years of experience in software architecture, development, training, and mentorship. She began her career in corporate travel technology 10 years ago at Concur where she was a Supervisor / Senior Technical Consultant responsible for Compleat implementations. She next worked with Atriis as a Customer Solutions Architect for GTP, and then continued as an independent consultant focused on mid-office and booking tool implementations for regional and multi-national TMCs. In all her roles, Amy specialized in the full software implementation lifecycle, from technical business analysis and solution design through configuration, testing, and delivery.
Amy is thrilled to be working alongside the brilliant Festive Road team (whom she’s been fangirling for years). She feels fortunate to be in an innovative corporate travel technology space where relationships are valued and the “art of the possible” is the driving force.
Based in Dallas, Amy enjoys traveling with her family, finding hilly places to hike in flat north Texas, having her teenagers roll their eyes at her (she says she’s a pro!), and tending her garden.
For years, we’ve been delivering technology consulting inside our Design, Sourcing, and Implementation projects. Whether helping clients reimagine their programme architecture or guiding them through a complex sourcing process involving microservices, technology has always played a starring role behind the scenes.
But now? It’s stepping into the spotlight.
And the Festive Road Pulse Report, which we’ll reveal next week, showcases that the timing is right. 88% of buyers say technology is crucial; but almost three quarters say it’s underperforming. Travel and Expense leaders need a clear technology strategy aligned to their programme goals and this new practice will deliver that.
“Technology has moved to be the top focus in our clients’ T&E programmes, and with so much complexity in this space they’ve asked us for a holistic approach across all categories. Amy has the expertise to deliver just that. I’ve been so impressed with the value she’s delivered to our Outsourcing clients which made her the perfect choice to lead our new technology practice.”
